Important resources for our work have been based on research commissioned by the Office of Science and Technology’s Foresight Programme (www.foresight.gov.uk). In particular, this programme has recently produced two complementary strategic scans that look to the next 50 years, and which are freely available to view on-line:

We also examined key insights produced by the Defra’s Natural Resource Protection Futures Project as well as the scenario based insights of the 2005 Millennium Ecosystem Assessment
